Obituary of Debra Rowe

Debra K. Rowe, age 57, of Silver Springs, FL passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2009. She was born in Daytona Beach, FL on April 9, 1952. Debra lived all her life in Florida. She met and married Richard A. Rowe and together they raised two children. Debra worked at Maplewood Elementary School in Ocala as a Paraprofessional. She was the founding President of Marion Essential Support Personnel and served for over 25 years. Her hobbies included motorcycle riding and music. Debra was a member of the 1960's band "We Five", most notable for the song "You Were On My Mind". Her religious affiliation was Episcopal. She is survived by her husband of 33 years Richard A. Rowe; daughter Laura Johnson; son Richard A. Rowe, Jr.; sister Cynthia Gettle; sister Linda Smock; grandchildren Katie and Joshua; and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL on Friday, May 1, 2009 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. A funeral service will be held at First Assembly of God, 1827 NE 14th St, Ocala, FL pm Saturday, May 2, 2009 at 11:00am. Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park, Ocala, FL.
