We became a part of the Ocala community over 130 years ago when we decided to build our first funeral home in 1885. Since then, we have served our community with compassion, empathy, and respect. Our team members in York are part of our local community here and it is our mission to celebrate the lives of those we have lost in our community and walk their loved ones through grief. We eat, play, pray, and live in the community and all of our decisions are driven by the goal of strengthening our community and positively impacting the lives of our neighbors. We coordinate catering with our local bakeries, restaurants, and delis; we work with local florists in Marion County to design floral arrangements, we organize all printing materials, such as programs, prayer cards, signage, and photos; and we manage the logistics of the service, so your family can focus on what really matters. When it comes to planning your loved one’s farewell, we are only limited by our imagination. If you are interested in planning ahead for yourself or a family member, we can also help you think of how you would like to be remembered using ShareLife services. Our Family Service Advisors are always available to discuss pre-planning options for those who are interested in gifting their family the peace of celebrating their life and legacy without making any rushed decisions.
