I'll miss Dr. Bob. I learned a lot from him about life when I worked at Veterinary Associates. He was strong, silent support when times were rough. His short but thoughful comments kept me going. Blessings to Julie, Greg, David, Mark and Jeff. Thank you for sharing your husband and father with us.

Dr. Bob was a very special man and I have always remembered him coming to the Holzinger farm to tend to one my injured horses. His great nature was passed down to his four sons; Greg, David, Mark, and Jeff. My deepest sympathy goes out to the entire Jackson family for your loss. God Bless all of you.

I always thought that Bob was one of the nicest people I have ever known. I am sure everyone will miss him as much as I will. The world is a better place for having had him.

A consummate professional, Bob Jackson was one of the finest veterinarians that the state of Wisconsin ever had. Dr. Jackson was always there to meet the farmer's need and his low-key, friendly, and reserved disposition contributed immensely to his success and always in demand stature. His greatest attributes in his profession were his inner confidence, willingness to do whatever it took to aid an animal, and his strong family ties and virtues. These same outstanding qualities have been passed down to his four sons-most notably, Greg-the oldest, who has followed in his father's footsteps while serving as a veterinarian in Loyal, Wisconsin. Despite both Dr. Jackson and Greg being avid and staunch backers of the F'ing Illini, there is no greater respect than that of choosing a father's profession. Dr. Jackson will definitely be missed. It is with a heavy heart that I post this message.
Regards,
Chuck Holzinger

I have too many fond memories of Bob. In fact I don't ever remember having a bad time. Having played golf with him 3 days a week several years I still cannot believe his smiling face will not be with me going to the golf course. On Mondays when we played golf for fun (with Julie) he was constantly experimenting trying to improve. A nicer man you cannot find and as a friend he is irreplaceble. I believe he is in heaaven still looking for a few more yards.
