I am not sure how many of dad's friends have found this site. But I hope everyone would sign it atleast ones so we can see who all know's what is going on. I sit here at now 7 am thinking. I have been on this site for over an hour now. Crying,typing and posting.
So now I have to tell dad that I don't know what I am going to do with Joseph. LOL Who is going to fix his fishing poles. He has already said he was going to see you so you could. I love you. I remember Roy taking Dorsi and I out fishing on his boat when we were probably 10 years old. We'd get up way too early and it'd be so dang cold out there on the water. He'd give us flannel shirts from his truck to keep warm, a thermos of hot chocolate and we'd just hang out and chill with him.
Then one time I caught a fish in our creek and thought he'd be so proud so I walked over to ya'lls house and left it on your doorstep because you weren't home! I'm sure he got a kick out of that.
Fun times with a good man. You will be missed here on earth but will forever be in our hearts. See you again someday :0)

My favorite memories of Mr. Roy would have to be the 100's of games of 65 we played out on the porch... hearing him say in his frustrated voice "Ok, I'm gettin' serious now!". Or at the Larry the Cable Guy show when we knocked each other down the steps trying to get back to our seats before the show started... we were so tipsy and laughing so hard we couldn't get up. He always made me feel like family; was so much fun to be around and always making people smile. He was a great man, and he will be greatly missed.

Well Roy, we were married close to 20 years and then got divorced. I was re-married close to 16 years and he passed away. Then you came back into the lives of our daughters and myself and we became the best of friends. We shared this time for 4 years. We played cards, had dinners and went to my mom's for the holidays like old times. You got to where you were always there and helped in so many ways. I am going to miss you but I know you no longer will be suffering or in any pain. Say hi to your mom,dad,grandparents,Ronald,Sam and my dad. We'll all be together one day. Always Marsha
