One of my memories of Ray was spending Superbowl Sunday with him and cousin Gloria at my sister MIlly's house We had a great time He was a good man and always smiling How blessed my cousin Gloria and Family were to have him in their lives A gifted man who was able to accomplish all he did including their beautiful home in Georgia A man of many trades. Regarding his unique smile, it brings to mind something that Mother Teresa once said if I can remember it clearly Every time you smile it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing. Let us always meet each other with a smile for the smile is the beginning of " Love" How many lives "Ray" touched because of that special smile, truly a reflection of "Love" God bless, protect and guide you, Gloria and Family.
In Christ Love Always,..

We only have fond memories of Ray & Gloria and Ray never made us feel like a guest but only as family. The last time we were together was a day of laughter and joy. Ray always had that radiant smile. He has fought long and hard with several health conditions, with his wife Gloria and his love ones at his side when the lord called him home showed how truly blessed and how much Ray was loved.
Our prayers are with Cousin Gloria and the Yard families,
Love Cousins Ray & Violet

Ray and I were friends for over 55 years. We went to high school together in Brooklyn and with Ray's help I passed my final math exam and graduated. We rode horses together in Prospect Park and occasionally drank a few containers of beer together because we were too young to go into the bars. We decided to join the military and left the same week, he to the Marines and I to the Navy. We didn't get together much after that but we never lost contact with each other. We always knew where each of us were.
My wife and I drove up to see him last month, We all went out for lunch together and had a nice visit, I will always be thankful for that day. Goodby my friend, if there truly is a hearafter, I'll see you there my friend...

Ray always had many smiles, The happy care-free smile, the are you kidding me smile, the lets do it smile. You just had to smile back at him. He always put Gloria and family first, I remember Ray talking about his daughter or something they did with the grankids you could see his chest swell up pround as can be.We are all richer for knowing Ray. Its your turn to enjoy the company of all who went before you, Keep them laughing
Yours in Christ
