Obituary of Damon B. Walker

Walker, Damon B. Rev. Damon B. Walker, 85, of Belleview passed away at his residence on Sunday, November 28, 2010. Rev. Walker is a native of Okeechobee and moved to Belleview in 1967. Rev. Walker was ordained in 1955 and moved to Belleview to pastor First Baptist Church of Belleview, where he remains as Pastor Emeritus. Rev. Walker is survived by his wife Betty Walker, son Rev. Ronald S. Walker of Belleview, daughter Vicki J. Walker of Belleview, 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be at 6pm on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at First Baptist Church Belleview, with Rev. Doug Green, Rev. Ronald S. Walker, and Rev. Stan Hannan officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm on Tuesday at the church. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at Evergreen Cemetery in Okeechobee, FL. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Betty Walker Scholarship Fund for Belleview Christian Academy or the Damon Walker College Scholarship Fund.
