Pastor Damon Walker was one of the most kind, thoughtful persons I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He always had a smile on his face and could brighten my day just by speaking with him. Damon "Papa" Walker has always been a part of my family because his precious son married my mom's sister. That made him my family, too. I love Papa and will miss him and his kind and gentle ways. He was a true gentleman, and will live forever in my heart. I will miss you Papa!!!

Damon will forever be in our hearts. I loved him from the first day I met him, 28 years ago. I feel that God truly took home one of his greatest saints. He will be deeply missed on this earth, but I know we will all see him again one day. Love you Damon

I was saddened to hear about Reverend Walker's passing. I have very fond memories of the Walker's when they lived in Okeechobee. Vicki and I were good friends when she was here. We will be praying for the family.

I grew up in Forst Baptist Church and Brother Damon has always been there. He was such a lively person. Very kind hearted. He was one of the best men I ever met. He will be greatly missed. He loved everyone he met and the lord very much. This I believe was shown by him. It won't be quite the same without him but he will be in a better place.

Brother Walker is the pastor that I grew up listening to. His services were always heart-given and always spoke the truth. The one primary thing that always came to mind and will continue to do so when I think on him is gentleness and love. His love for others was exemplified in everything he did. The Lord shone out of his heart and his energy was always full of the Holy Spirit so easily recognized in him.
