Obituary of Bobbie J. Duncan
Bobbie J. Duncan, 71, of Ocala, Florida died Monday, January 17, 2011 at Estelle's Hospice House in Ocala. Bob was born toTroy and Elsie Duncan in Christiansburg, Virginia. Bob moved to Ocala in 1978. He was a veteran of the Vietnam war serving 23 years in the United States Air Force. After retirement from the Air Force he became a Registered Nurse. He worked at MRMC and Hospice of Marion Co. Bob's passion was motorcycle riding and he was a Life Member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association serving as chapter director. He enjoyed traveling, woodworking, cruising and camping. Bob is survived by his wife Marion of 27 years. Son Michael T. Duncan (Stepanie) of Ocala, FL. Daughter Callie Jettie Johnson (Beau) of Pollock, LA. Sister Rhonda Postell (Debra) of Ellicott City, MD. Brother Ivan Quinn (Joan) of VA. Grandchildren Lindsey, Michael, Troy, Connor, and Alannah. He was preceded in death by his brother Eugene Quinn. A visitation will be held Friday, January 21st from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. with a funeral service to be held Saturday, January 22 at 1:00 p.m., both at Hiers-Baxley, 910 Silver Springs Blvd. Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of Marion Co., P.O.
