Lisa and Ken, you are both in my thoughts and prayers. Ruth Ann was a great friend and companion during our Valiant Knights years. She had a big impact on so many of the members and raised two of the most respectful and well behaved young people I have ever met. Remember all the good times, it will help with the loss. Love to you both, Tressa

In memory of my beloved sister, she will be truly missed. I love her and I am proud to have had her for 72 years in my live. She was a loving mother to her children and the many children of the VK. She served her savior Jesus Christ well and I am looking forward to being re-united with her in heaven.
Ken and Lisa I am sorry I can not be with you during our loss.
Love
Linda

Ruth Ann...you were a beautiful woman who created a great family! As a young drum corps member we all knew you were our mother-away-from home while on trips and that we could go to you for anything we needed. You shaped many of us into the caring adults that we are today and I will always be greateful to you. To Lisa and Ken my thoughts are with you during this time. Love to you all.

Aunt Ruthie, who was only 9 years older than me, had an enchanting laugh that seemed to smooth out life's bumps. Every time I think of her, I remember her charming chuckle! When you heard it you knew she was really enjoying the situation. Now, as she stands before The King, her joy is complete as she receives her "Well Done, Good and Faithful Servant Award. We will remember her and love her forever! Our heartfelt sympathy to Ken, Lisa, and all who shared in her life.

Watch over all of us from above, as you have always done while here. Your light remains on our paths when we nurture, give, and teach others. Thank you for being there for me as a young person in need of guidance. I had little parenting at home, and you always served as a wonderful adult example. Thank you for loving all of the Valiant Knights!! I am sure that your heavenly crown is gorgeous!!! xo!

The memory of Ruth Ann that sticks out in my mind, has to do with Chocolate, not just any, a Hershey's bar - we were getting ready to leave on a Winter Guard trip (Winter/Spring '79), she got on the bus and announced - Who took my Hershey's bar? I don't remember if it resurfaced, but I remember thinking that chocolate wasn't that important to me. Probably about 25 years later I figured out why that chocolate bar was so important!!! and I too would want my Hershey's bar back!!! Mrs Q, you were an important part of our lives, the VK kids, we love you and will miss you here but know that you have joined the VK family on the other side!!!

Al, so sorry to hear of Ruth's passing. I think about you all often. A while back I saw Lisa on someone's FB page and messaged her to see how all of you, including Al, were doing. Did not hear back from her. I did know Charles had passed and very sorry about that also - too young. Enid remembers you!.......Norma Gordon Kaiser

Mrs. Qualheim was a great "away from home" mom, giving guidance in a loving way. She raised two amazingly smart and loving children. God bless those who are left behind.
