I remember well the night in a San Francisco restaurant that Tom told me he was going to marry Linda, and he asked me to be his best man. After reconciling myself to the fact that there would be no more bachelor trips to S.F. I thought, "She's a real find. She'll make him happy." And it was obvious over the years, on the rare occasions when our paths crossed, that is what she had done'.

Dear Tom.
I was shocked to learn about Linda's untimely demise. It seems like only yesterday that we were together during Andy's christening; fun-filled moments to remember; and Linda cuddling little Andy - a picture of bliss!
Having been through the loss of one's spouse, I can more that relate to the empty and sad feelings you must have now and will have in the days and weeks to come, However, the human spirit is so resilient; we do bounce back as I did; we recover and learn to live with the loss but keeping the beautiful memories intact.

I absolutely love all the pictures of Linda with family & friends. She had such a beautiful smile but what strikes me most is her heart-felt smile with her kids and grandchildren that comes straight from her heart and nothing in this world could remove it or make it more meaningful. To all of Linda's relatives and friends: It is wonderful to know how good a person Linda was. I have not seen Linda in decades, but past recollections are all pleasant. I am the oldest cousin and thought I would die first. Linda and Barbara Sloboda both died at age
62. I feel so sad for Tom and the "children". Thank heavens Linda did not suffer. I have so many nice relatives and Linda I can tell was more than nice. I was glad to find out that
Linda and Tom moved to Florida as when you get older the nice weather makes you feel
younger and at least Linda had that enjoyment. Please accept my condolences.

I have known Linda since our freshman year of college at Glassboro State. She was my friend, roommate, and confidante. I was her maid of honor at her and Tom's wedding. Her mom had made all of our outfits and they were GORGEOUS! The only bridesmaid's outfit that I wore again. I loved it!
I could go on and on about the wonderful memories of our friendship but I will stick to our last gathering this past spring. Linda and Tom were visiting Michael and his family in Cheshire, CT and she came and spent some time with me in Brookfield, CT. She was absolutely glowing and so happy with her new life with Tom in The Villages and with her children's lives. We went to a winery in my neighborhood and, Dr. DiGrazia, my neighbor up the street and the originator of DiGrazia Vineyards, happened to be there. They shared their knowledge of wine with each other and enjoyed their conversation for over an hour. I do believe that Linda had almost as much knowledge about the wines as he did! My knowledge of wine? I drink it, that's about it, but I enjoyed the relish with which they conversed. We had a marvelous time and promised to get together more often now that "the kids are all raised."
I am so happy that I spent that time with her. It is a privilege to call her my friend. I will miss her terribly as we all will. Rest in peace our "Glassboro Girl." You are beautiful inside and out.

Ron and I were deeply saddened to hear of Linda's passing. What a great gal! I remember how proud and excited she was when her first grandchild was born, displaying the baby picture on the outside of her golf locker. She spoke often of her family and was so very proud of everyone.

Rich and I are very sorry to hear the sad news about Linda. We met the Tessiers at Spring Ford Country Club. Some of my most wonderful and fun memories were when we all learned the sport of golf, and so began the famous ladies' "nine-holers" group. We came to golf on Thursday nights, but we enjoyed dinner, drinks, and laughs probably more. Linda was a great friend and a wonderful person. Linda was so much a part of our golfing group at Spring Ford and she will be greatly missed. When you moved "south of the border" a couple years ago, we missed playing with Linda on a regular basis. She was a good golfer, with a consistent game and often very tough on herself and her game, because she was also a perfectionist. I will personally always cherish all the good times and laughs that we had out on the course.
I will also think of Linda everytime I wear the shoes we both liked and purchased while in Hilton Head playing Old South with you guys.

From the first day we met her over 40 years ago, we new she was a very special person and a " keeper"....we're glad Tom agreed. We have so many fun memories of traveling with her. Her infectious smile, her willingness to do anything fun, and her positive outlook on life. We know she loved to walk on the beach and hang -out by the pool getting ready for a fun evening of dining & dancing. These are but a few samples from a lifetime of memories.She will be greatly missed. Our deepest sympathies to Tom, a lifelong FRIEND and Air Force worldwide traveling buddy as well as to Michelle, Michael,Christine , their spouses and kids, and her brothers. May she rest in peace.

I've only knew Linda for a couple of years, but her infectious smile, her sharp wit and willingness to take on almost anything will remain a vivid memory. Her knowledge and skill that she shared as an AARP Volunteer were first class. We will miss her dearly.

Although Linda and I knew each other only a little over two years since we both moved here, we quickly became best friends. She was always so enthusiastic about living here and what fun we've had. There was a hardly a day that went by that we didn't spend some time together. She was my go to person too and I will miss her for the rest of my life. Rest in peace my dear friend.

My first memories of Linda go back over 30 years--back to the days when we were active in the League of Women Voters. She was such a well-organized person, her term as president was guaranteed to have quick, efficient meetings and we got things done. Because she and Tom were part of The Bridge Group for such a long time, we've seen Michael, Michelle, and Christine grow up to be the strong, wonderful adults they have become, and our hearts and sympathy go out to them as well as to Tom. I'll miss her smile and laugh and her own brand of humor. We were looking forward to visiting this winter, and John was planning on another chance at her famous pineapple cake.

My baby sister. The "Go-To" person in our family. We are in shock. I am so glad she had the time in the Villages with so many new friends and activities. She was so happy.
