Dearest Sharon, I am so sorry to hear of Tom"s death. I thank you for introducing Tom to our card club. We all had such fun times each summer when you and Tom came to Michigan and we got together for our club potlucks. It was a day of lots food and fun and laughs. Oh how he loved to play 31! . Tom Joyce was a wonderful individual everybody was very happy to know. He lived his life to the fullest extent with honesty, dignity, infectious enthusiasm and passion, and , most importantly, integrity. He was much more than my father-in-law. He will live in my heart forever and he will be greatly missed by many. He was truly the Fighting Irish. Hope the University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish Football team will acknowledge sometime soon how fortunate they were (are and will be) to have Tom Joyce as a great supporter and spiritual leader.
