I remember Nancy loving children most of all. She was all about watching, asking, doing, and mostly smiling when around children.
I have some of Nancy's notes that she took when reading scripture. She didn't sleep well and it seems she spent a lot of time in the Word.
When Daddy and I would have our weekly "guitar pickin'" Nancy would always have dinner almost ready when I got there. A hot meal, good conversation then a quick "alright, you guys get to it, I'll take care of dishes" and Daddy and I would be off for an hour or two of playing together.
Nancy was good travel companion for Dad, either liking or tolerating the Rodeo thing (I don't know which!) as they went to a few finals, etc..
Again, I don't know if Nancy fished before she married Daddy, but she learned and from what I could see had the patience to do pretty good with it.
She loved her Grandson and spent a lot of her spare time loving and caring for him. She was very proud of Trevor!!
The Lord cares for his people. Nancy is getting first-hand experience in that right now!! What a joyful end to a life!!
