Jerry was my backyard neighbor. We would occasionally sit and talk about life, family, and our mutual interest, gardening. I used to have a waterfall in my backyard, and Jerry expressed how she loved listening to the water at night, as she drifted off to sleep. She found it very relaxing.
She was one of the sweetest and kindest people I ever met. She was very dedicated and cared for her husband, and mother-in-law, at the same time, as they both had Alzheimer's. Even after her husband passed, she continued carrying for his mom at her home. At the same time, she shared her home and life with her son Todd. She never complained, and was always a very happy person. Jerry had lots of aches and pains, as we all do as we age, but she did as much as she could.
I was happy that she continued to play golf with the ladies group, because they brought her great joy. She would always encourage me to come and play golf. Jerry will definitely be missed by all those who were lucky enough to have a part of her touch their life, as I know I will. REST IN PEACE JERRY, AMEN, Gina Griffo
