Obituary of Ramon S. Armand

Ramon Armand passed away on February 16, 2022 in Ocala, FL. There will be a “Celebration of Life” ceremony held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home 3975 Wedgewood Lane The Villages, FL 32162 on Saturday, March 5, 2022 beginning at 12:00 pm with a Visitation and the Celebration of Life Service beginning at 1:00 PM. Immediately following the services, the family is asking that everyone please join them for a reception at a location that will be announced at the conclusion of the services.  Ramon was born in Santiago, Cuba he lived there until 1962, when he moved to Miami Beach, FL. He attended Miami Beach High School. He joined the U.S. Army in 1966 and served as a medical corpsman. He was stationed in Fort Devons, MA until his discharge in 1968.  After his military service, Ramon, returned to Miami. In 1976, he moved to St. Louis, MO where he began a career in sales management. He married the love his life Susan Depper in 1980.  He leaves to cherish his loving memories his wife of over 40 years, Susan Armand; a sister Fidelina Castillo; a brother -in- law Eduardo Castillo, 5 children: James, Gina, Joy, Laurie, & Dennis, 15 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and several nieces & nephews. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association .
