Obituary of Rachael Eleanor Edmunds

Rachael Eleanor Edmunds, 69, of Dunnellon, Florida passed away on August 8, 2021 at Advent Health of Ocala. She was born May 29, 1952, the daughter of the late Leo and Eleanor Roy. Rachael was a native of Rochester, New Hampshire before moving to the Ocala area many years ago. She was previously a kindergarten teacher before becoming a nurse’s assistant in her later years.

Rachael is survived by her husband, Kent Hamilton; her children, Desra and Amanda; and many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and late husband, Michael Carrier.

A funeral service for Rachael will be held at 10:00am on Friday, August 13 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services (9695 SW 110th Street, Ocala, FL 34481). Visitation will be held from 9:00am until time of the service. Online condolences may be left to hiers-baxley.com.
