Obituary of Richard Salvatore Imbesi

Richard Salvatore Imbesi, 60, of Ocala, FL, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2021. Richard was born in Bronx, NY and has lived in Ocala since 2003. He was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. As a member of Blessed Trinity Church, he was involved with Legion of Mary, Knights of Columbus, Brother’s Keeper Thrift Store, Christ Renews His Parish, and the Brother’s Keeper Soup Kitchen. Richard was also caregiver of his parents, the late Carmelo Imbesi (2016) and Julia Imbesi who lives in Ocala. Hobbies included kite making, cooking, fellowship, and a variety of music. He had a very kind heart, full of compassion and eager to be involved. Richard dearly loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include his mother Julia Imbesi, sisters; Linda (Salvatore) Castello of Ocala, Debra (Tony) Napolitano of Ocala, and Caryn (Michael) Lutz of Palm Coast, FL, 5 nieces; Gina, Samantha, Jennifer, Heather, and Kimberly, and 2 nephews; Michael and Christopher.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, February 28th from 1pm til 2:30pm. A procession will follow to Blessed Trinity Catholic Church for the Funeral Mass which will begin at 3:00pm.
