I would like to say for my wife Peggy & I, Mike Rusaw, that it was a pleasure to know Stu. We had lots of fun playing table tennis with and against him. He always got the score wrong intentionally for his team and had to be corrected often. I remember the time he needed to qualify for the state tournament. So he asked me to be his doubles partner in a qualifying tournament ( I had already qualified). Well he played like ****, not very well when we played doubles, but he could do no wrong against me in singles. I thanked him for inviting me and then beating me so badly. He also was a great listener about my baseball tournaments and could relate to the fun that was enjoyed. He will be missed.

So very sorry to hear of Stewart’s passing. I have many fond memories of bowling with Stew and discussing educational issues with him. Stew had an amazing sense of humor and his skills in remaking old objects into beautiful new treasurers are legendary. Our grandchildren are still enjoying rocking in chairs and using chests that were brought back to life by Stewart’s skillful hands.
Please accept our most heartfelt condolences on your loss of a one-of-a-kind man.
