Obituary of Joseph Michael Hogan
Joseph Michael Hogan, 94 of the Villages Florida passed away on November 16, 2020. He was born to the late Michael and Ida (Faucy) Hogan in Everett, MA on November 2, 1926. Joe attended Our Lady of Grace School in Everett, Ma and after graduation went right into the service. He joined the US Navy and fought for our country in World War II from the years 1943-1946.With his years in the service Joe was able to be chosen to take one of the Honors Flights to Washington, DC and this was one of his special memories he held close to his heart for years . After Joe’s time in the service he came back home to Massachusetts and found his way into the court system. Joe was a Clerk of the Magistrate at the Natick District Court for 21 years. For all of Joe’s hard work within the court system they honored him by naming an annual scholarship in his name. They named the Joseph M. Hogan Award to high school students in the Natick area scholarships for college. Joe loved all sports but especially the Boston Red Soxs and the New England Patriots.
Joe leaves Loving wife Barbara (Gullotti) Hogan after 40 years with whom he married on February 2, 1980. He also leaves his children Paul, Peter, Dennis, David, Diane and step-son Glenn Gullotti. Joe leaves numerous grand and great- grandchildren. He was predeceased by siblings Vincent, Billy, Elizabeth and step-daughter Sharon McCall.
Joe’s Celebration of Life will be, Saturday January 23, 2021 at 11:00am. Services will be celebrated at The Garden Worship Center, 12740 SE County Hwy 484 Belleview, FL 34420.
