Obituary of Josh Lewis

Josh Lewis 39, of Belleview, Florida passed away suddenly on December 31, 2020 in Putnam County, Georgia.

Josh was born in Ocala, Florida.  He was the son of Payton and Kathy Lewis.

He was a Master Technician for the City of Ocala, Florida for 20 Years.

Josh enjoyed many things including spending quality time with family and friends. He loved the outdoors, boating, his photography, bicycling, his dirt bike, motorcycle, and his jeep.  He also enjoyed visiting historical museums.  He loved to take road trips and visit points of interest in other states and countries.

Josh was an intelligent man, someone you could count on.  He could fix anything.  He loved spending time with his niece, Ivy and nephews Carson and Oren.

Josh is survived by his mom, Kathy Lewis and step-father, Howard Pedersen of Belleview, Florida.  His dad Payton Lewis and step-mother, Anna Lewis of Ocala. His sister and soul mate, Erin Smith and her husband Matt Smith.  His brother and buddy, Tyler Lewis and Tyler’s children, Ivy, Carson, and Oren Lewis.  His grandparents, J.C. and Mary Lou Lewis and Aunts and Uncles he loved dearly. 

A viewing will be held on January 7, 2020  from 10:30 until 11:30 A.M. at Heirs-Baxley Funeral Services, 5946 SE Robinson Road, Belleview, Florida.  The Graveside Service will be held at 12: P.M. at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens, 5050 SW 20^th Street, Ocala, Florida.   A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on his birthday March 28, details forthcoming.
