JoAnn, I am so very sorry for your loss. It was great meeting you and seeing Ron after 30 years in February.I thought he looked and sounded great after what he had been through. Ron and I were in Navy Supply Corps School, Athens, GA. together and our paths crossed many times in the ensuing years. He helped me in many ways, particularly in the matter of preparation for promotion boards. I greatly appreciate his wise counsel. He was a great, straight-up guy. My thanks to you, Ron, at anchor in the safe harbor where the winds blow warm, the waters calm and the skies forever blue. My condolences to the family. Mike Kamin Captain, USN (Ret.)

We will miss Ron’s quit wit and beaming smile. Many memories were made with he and Joann in New Orleans and then years later here in The Villages. We celebrated many Mardi Gras together. May God comfort his wife JoAnn and sister Phyllis.

My heart aches at the loss of this great man. I work with him in SC OP at the Navy Annex. He was an awesome and caring boss. My condolences to his wife and family. He will be missed by so many. RIP my friend! Pam Bell
