Obituary of Josephine Digilio

Josephine Digilio, 85, of Ocala entered into Heaven on December 17, 2018. Born on July 13, 1933 to Matteo and Concentina Leggio in Astoria, New York.  She spent most of her life in Astoria where she met her husband Michael Digilio and together they raised seven wonderful children. In 1999 they moved to Ocala and fit in very well.  Josephine loved her family and enjoyed playing cards, Mah Jongg, and creating special traditions she passed on to her children and friends.  Survivors include her Children: Michael Digilio Jr, Michele (John) Bryers, Georgia Digilio, Donna (Joe) Arruffat, Laurie (Guy) Pezzullo, Tina (Mark) Rivera, Gail (Tony) Accetturi.  Her Grandchildren:  Joelle Digilio, Michael Digilio, Monica (Bart) Sowa, Alex Bryers, Anthony Accetturi, Josephine Accetturi, Charles Bryers, Joseph Pezzullo, MarkAnthony Rivera, and Vincent Bryers.  Great Grandchildren:  Maverick Sowa.  A visitation will be held from 3:00PM to 7:00PM on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, TimberRidge, 9695 SW 110th Street, Ocala, FL, 34481.  A funeral service will be held at 8:30AM on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 6455 SW SR 200, Ocala, FL, 34481.
