"Mamaseeta" was my mentor.. She lived what she believed with her kindness & love. To me the word that best describes her is "feisty" - she never backed down from any challenge as her life story explains..
Nick & I so enjoyed all the great times with our dear friends - vacations, golf, cards - we were blessed with so many good times & treasured our special friendship... It is a great comfort to me to know that someday I will join these 3 remarkable people for all the adventures Heaven will offer...
Hope this story puts a smile on your faces... Ron,Joyce,Nick & I were enjoying a round of golf.. Joyce chipped her ball a couple of feet from the pin (a rare event for both of us women!). There was an old pin plug about 30 feet from the newly placed pin that Joyce's ball was next to - without a word Ron & Nick moved her ball & the pin to the old hole while Joyce was on her way to the cart for her putter... I will never forget the look on her face when she came back to the green & saw her ball so far from the pin/hole.. Of course after a "heated" discussion the guys finally confessed, moved the pin & ball back & Joycee made her putt!! What a gal..
While the grief of missing this remarkable lady will be overwhelming - what a blessing for all of you to have been with her as she passed from your loving arms into the waiting & loving arms of the Lord & Ron.
Marc, thks for the message you left on my home phone.. I didn't hear it until the evening of 11/29 when I returned from Minnesota. I am very sorry I won't be attending Joyce's memorial but each & every one of you ... & "Mamaseeta"
are in my loving thoughts..
