Obituary of John Kimley
KIMLEY, JOHN E. Silver Springs - John E. Kimley, age 91, went to be with the Lord on
Friday, Oct. 17, 2008. He was born on Jan. 14, 1917 in Philadelphia, PA. He was preceded in death
by his wife of 50 years, Margaret "Peg" Kimley and his wife of 14 years, Helen Kimley and his
son, David Lambert-Kimley. He worked for the Pennsylvania/Penn Central/Conrail Railroad from 1942
until 1978. He served in the National Guard from 1939 until 1942 where he received an Honorable
Discharge. He was a member of The Forest Assembly of God for many years. He enjoyed swimming,
diving, motorcycles and most of all, his family. He was also a very talented artist. He was an
avid jokester and leaves behind many wonderful memories. He is survived by his son, John Lambert
and wife, Floss, his son, Robert Lambert and wife Elaine, his granddaughter, Deanna Cervellera
and husband John and their children, John David and Cody, his grandson, Dan Lambert and wife Yun
and their children, Nicki and Ashley, his grandson, Thierry Lambert and wife Valeska and their
children, Katrina, Genina and Austin and his grandson, Keddy and his daughter, Mackenzie. He is
also survived by his brother, Tom Lambert and his loving nephews and nieces. A gathering of
family and friends will take place from 10-11 AM on Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2008 at Hiers-Baxley
Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala. Interment will be at Highland Memorial
