Obituary of Dollie Thompson

Dollie Thompson, 78 of Belleview, passed away Oct. 18 at the Tuscany Hospice House in Summerfield. Born in Pedro, she has been a lifelong resident of Marion County. She attended the Belleview United Methodist Church. She was active in the Garden Club, a retired office manager, enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, sewing, and cooking. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Nichols of Belleview, her son W. Elbert Thompson, Jr also of Belleview and daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and Larry Taylor of Port St. Lucie, FL, her 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be Thursday, Oct 23 at 1:00 PM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, Belleview with Rev. Ronald S. Walker officiating. Visitation will be Wed. 6 - 8 PM at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions in Mrs. Thompson's memory may be made to a Hospice of your choice. Arrangements are under the care of Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services - Belleview.
