Obituary of Richard Anderson

Richard Van Anderson, age 77, of Ocala, FL passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2008 at MRMC Emergency Center at TimberRidge. Mr. Anderson was a retired sales engineer. He moved from Framingham, MA to Ocala in 1994. Mr. Anderson was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Advent of Ocala. He was an Air Force veteran during the Korean Conflict. An avid tennis player he also enjoyed the computer. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Patricia Anderson; four daughters, Deborah Anderson of Framingham, MA, Barbara Anderson of Marlboro, MA, Nichole Jelsma of Lakewood, CO, Christine Anderson of Raleigh, NC; one son, Richard Anderson of Marlboro, MA,; and one sister, Ann Canavello, of Elberta, AL; three grandchildren, Shane, Chase and Jett Michael. Visitation for Mr. Anderson will be Thursday, October 23, 2008 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 Noon at Hiers-Baxley TimberRidge Chapel 9695 SW 110th Street in Ocala. Military service will be Friday, October 24, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. With honors by Angela Santos Post #4781 of Ocala.
