Dear Read Family: My late mother in law, Ede Ebert, was a good friend of Anne's and introduced me to her and her bridge group. Anne was a terrific card player and loved the game--she had a sharp mind and played the game exceedingly well. She could of played poker as she was always protected her hand well. I enjoyed my time with these lovely ladies. I always felt welcomed and wanted. God bless you all.

To Anne Read's Family
I knew Anne for a very short time. However, since our first meeting at Susan and Glenn's wedding dinner we had become great friends.
I will remember her with affection always and will certainly miss writing to her and receiving her letters and cards.
My husband and I send our sincere sympathies to you all. Thank you for giving me a view into Anne's fruitful life.

Dear Connie & Family,
We were so sorry to learn of your mother's passing. We loved her. She was such a good friend and neighbor to Mother, Alan and me at Cambridge Place and Hanover Court. We will miss her and her soft spoken, caring voice. Since Mother lives with us in Texas now, she was unable to attend the service. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you. Sincerely, Gay
