Obituary of Harold Rasmussen

Harold C. Rasmussen, 80, of Ocala, FL passed away at Legacy Hospice House on November 2, 2008. Mr. Rasmussen was retired from the Floral Park, NY Police Department and the U.S. Postal Service. He was a member of the Police Benevolent Association. He moved to Ocala from Floral Park, NY in 1997. Mr. Rasmussen leaves behind his loving wife of nearly 60 years, Ruth Rasmussen; two daughters; Christine Koch and husband, Jeffrey of Floral Park, NY, and Karen Rasmussen and husband Ray Michalski of Dunnellon; and a granddaughter, Jennifer Koch. A sister, Marie Buonomo and her husband Vince; cousins, Warren Rasmussen of The Villages, FL and Ruth Layton of Redington Beach, FL; Nieces and Nephews. Memorial Service for Mr. Rasmussen will be Friday, November 7, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Hiers-Baxley TimberRidge Chapel, 9695 SW 110th Street, Ocala, FL.
