Obituary of Margie Brydon

Brydon, Margie F. Ocala - Margie F. Brydon, 89, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at the Legacy Hospice House. Born in Varneville, South Carolina, she moved to Ocala from Miami in the early 80's. During World War II, she worked in the Jacksonville shipyard as a burner alongside her husband who was a welder. She also worked as a bookkeeper. She is survived by her stepdaughter Agnes Yvonne Brydon Johnson of Gulfport, Florida; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Richard, Brydon and her daughter Dorothea Frances Lowman. A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, November 14, 2008 at the Orange Springs Cemetery, with Chaplin Warren Thompson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Marion County, P.O. Box 4860 Ocala, Florida 34478. Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services are in charge of all arrangements.
