Obituary of Monica Powell

POWELL, MONICA LEE Ocala - Monica Lee Powell, 40, died on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2008 at her residence. She was born in North Madison, OH and moved to Ocala 32 years ago. She was a medical biller for the Central Florida Heart Group. She is survived by her husband, Mike C. Powell of Ocala, her mother, Marcia Laing of Oak Ridge, TN, her step-sons, Brandon and Mike C. Powell, Jr. both of Ocala, her sister, Laurie Bargiel and her brother, Raymond Laing, both of Oak Ridge, TN, her grandfather, Malcolm Boorn of Ocala, her niece and six nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Laing, her grandmothers, Betty Boorn and Marion Laing, her grandfather, Charles Laing and her mother-in-law, Verglene Powell. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala with The Rev. Dr. Kenneth Kleckner officiating.
