Obituary of Thomas Kennedy

Thomas Kennedy, 83, passed away on November 15, 2008 at Legacy Hospice House in Ocala, FL. Mr. Kennedy moved to Ocala from Bayville, NJ in 1993 and was a member of the Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Ocala. He enjoyed gardening and remodeling projects. Mr. Kennedy was a veteran of the US Air Force serving during WWII and was also a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary in Bayville, NJ. He was an employee of the General Motors - Parts Division for 20 years. Mr. Kennedy is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Mary, of Ocala, FL; one daughter, Lea Sivilich and husband Dan, of Freebold Township, NJ; two sons, Bruce Kennedy and wife Charity of Baton Rouge, LA and Brian Kennedy of Bayville, NJ; one sister, Margaret Price of Chicago, IL and one brother, Frank Harned of Madison, NJ, and nine grandchildren; Michelle and husband Vince, Eric, Thomas, Krista, Nicholas, Bethany, Keegan, Grace Ann, and Charity and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Kennedy was predeceased by a brother, John Kennedy and a sister, Rita Kopp. Funeral Mass will be held at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, SR 200, Ocala, FL on Friday, November 21, 2008 at 8:30 AM with Father Patrick J. O'Doherty officiating. Military honors provided by Angela Santos Post #4781.
