Obituary of Lieselotte Howard
Lieselotte Howard 85, of Bronson, Fl., peacefully passed away surrounded by her family
and friends, Tuesday, November 18th, 2008, after battling cancer. She now rests in the loving
arms of the Lord and is reunited with her beloved husband Charles L. Howard. She was born in
Berlin, Germany in 1923. She utilized her university education in Theater and Linguistics to
entertain as a USO performer and as an Allied Forces Interpreter during World War II. She also
served as a nurse where she met and married her husband, Charles L. Howard, who was a military
medic. Briefly relocating to Illinois in 1954 she served as a Lab Technician for a Veterinarian
and was a member of the Junior Women's League. After settling in Gainesville, FL. to raise their
family she became a volunteer for local hospitals, accomplished pianist, painter and Christian
vocalist. Retiring in Bronson, FL. she became a devoted member of First Baptist Church of
Bronson. As a part of the music ministry she sang with choirs and as soloist for many community
events and local churches into her 85th year. She is survived by two children; Roger Ansin and
his wife Sharon, Ella Johnson and Brian; Four grandchildren; Julie, Christopher, Tommy and
Elliot; Four great grandchildren; Arielle, Anthony, Caden and Erik. A Memorial Service will be
held Saturday, November 22nd, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Bronson; 451 South
Court Street, Bronson, FL 32621. Burial Services will be held at a later date at the National
Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. In lieu of flowers please make donations to cancer research.
