Obituary of Jeanne Palmateer

Palmateer, Jeanne M. Ocala â€" Jeanne M. Palmateer, 67, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2008 at Florida Hospital in Kissimmee. Born in Poughkeepsie, NY, she moved to Ocala in 1996. She worked as an Information Developer for IBM for over 30 years. While in Ocala she spent many hours as a volunteer at Guardian Ad Litem through the Marion County judicial system. She enjoyed spending time with family and her pets. She is survived by her sister Mary Delancey of Ocala and close family friends Bruce and Shelby Shippee of Citra. There are no local services. Inurnment will take place at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery in New York. Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services â€" Ocala Chapel are in charge of all arrangements.
