Obituary of Dannie Howes

Dannie Ray Howes, age 60, died of cardiac arrest on Friday, November 28, 2008 at Ocala Regional in Ocala, FL. Dan was born May 9, 1948 in Owesboro, KY to Eava Mae and Henry Howes. Dan was a member of Church at the Springs in Ocala, FL and worked as a physician's assistant for over 20 years in the orthopedic medical field throughout central Florida. Dan loved the Lord, his family, and baseball. Dan was a giver and server of the Lord and was very much loved by family and friends. He is survived by six children, Jill Benner and her spouse Michael, Cara Bauman and her spouse Douglas, Kristin Simmons and her spouse Jerret, Charla Crimmi and her spouse John, Jeremiah Howes, and Troy Howes, and two grandchildren Jordan Benner and Madisyn Bauman. He is also survived by four siblings, Fred Baker, Henry Howes, Jim Howes, and Frances Martin. Ceremonies will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home in Ocala on Wednesday, December 3, 2008. Viewing at 10am and a ceremony at 11am. For 60 years God shared with us His great love and joy through Dan and we will never forget him.
