Obituary of Harold W Pete Jarvis
Harold W. "Pete" Jarvis, Jr., age 57, of Belleview, FL passed away on Wednesday,
December 3, 2008. He was born in Glens Falls, NY on August 19, 1951. Pete joined the US Army and
served during the Vietnam Conflict. After his military service he moved to Florida. He was a
Heavy Equipment Operator and also owned and operated Pete's Trucking and Escort Service. Pete was
a member of First Baptist Church of Belleview and the Moose. His hobbies included fishing and
hunting. He is survived by fiancee Lynda "Kathy" Rice; mother Lila Brill and her husband Malcolm;
daughter Tabitha Ann Jarvis; son Sgt. Darin Jarvis (USAF) and his wife Jennifer; son Shawn
Jarvis; son Pete Jarvis; son Shane Jarvis; sister Lila "Sissie" Plude-Barry and her fiancée Scott
Rolston; brother William "Bill" Jarvis and his wife Pearl; brother Lester Jarvis and his wife
Nancy; brother Kevin Jarvis and his wife Sabrina; brother Jeffrey Jarvis and his companion
Lillian Pepper; brother Robert Plude, Jr. and his companion Jennifer Stricker; 6 grandchildren
and 18 nieces and nephews. Pete had many acquaintances and friends. He and Greg "Snoopy" Philips
were like brothers. Where Pete was, Greg was and vice - versa. Pete would do anything for anyone
and was always there for his family.
