Obituary of Elizabeth Ann Lahey

Lahey, Elizabeth Ann Ocala - Elizabeth Ann Lahey, 78, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at Munroe Regional Medical Center. Born in Bennettsville, South Carolina, she moved to Ocala in 1973. She worked as a registrar with the Marion County Health Department for 20 years. She loved her family and her grandchildren. She loved going to garage sales. She is survived by her husband, Gene Lahey of Ocala; children Laurie (Bill) L. Music of Blue Ridge, GA, Mary Ann (Bill) Steltenkamp of Winter Park, Susan K. Turner of Ocala, Annie (Mike) R. Darley of Ocala, Carldon (Becky) E. Lahey, Jr. of Jacksonville, Earl Lahey of Mt. Vernon, MO; brothers Edmond E. (Glenda) Morrison of Virginia Beach, VA, E.K. (Pat) Morrison of Nags Head, NC; sister-in-law Pearline Morrison of Fayetteville, NC; grandchildren Patrick, Christy (David), Carla, Amy, Nick (Sasha), Pam (Jeremy R.), Jeremy (Becky), Brittany, Zachary, Anna, Josh, Ben, and Keri; and great-grandchildren Shain, Brock, and Nevaeh. A visitation will be held from 5 â€"7 PM on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services â€" Ocala Chapel, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, December 11, 2008 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services with Dr. Terry Markins officiating.
