Obituary of Ritzi Touloumis
TOULOUMIS, ELEFTHERIA "RITZI" Ocala, FL - Eleftheria "Ritzi" Touloumis, 85, passed away
on Dec. 7, 2008. She was born in Iraklion, Crete, Greece and moved here from Athens, Greece in
1947. She was a translator and audio visual specialist for the Marion County School Board and
Housewife. Her joy and pride were her family, friends and faith. She was a longtime member of the
Elks Club and Water Aerobics. Her accomplishments were loving life, her many friends, strong
faith, speaking five languages and children. Ritzi is survived by her Son, Simon T., of Key West,
FL, her Daughter, Katina Clark (Jeff), of Seattle, WA, Step-Son, Frank Touloumis (Betty), of
Albuquerque, NM, Granddaughters, Anmarie Touloumis Dobbs (Josh), of Brooklyn, NY, Michele Clark,
of Ocala, FL, Grandsons, Adam Clark, of Los Angeles, CA, Paul Clark, of Iowa City, IA, Anthony
Touloumis (Cathy), of Corrales, NM, Chris Touloumis (Judy), of Corrales, NM, Nephew, Andreas
Tsitsikas, Ampelokipoi, of Greece, Nieces, Ninon Melakis (George), of Chania, Crete Island,
Greece and Aspasia Troulinou, of Athens, Greece. Ritzi was preceded in death by her Husband,
Simon Anthony Touloumis in 1976. A memorial service will be held on Saturday , Dec. 20, 2008 at
10:00 AM at Grace Episcopal Church, with Fr. Jonathan D. French, Fr. Donald J. Curran, Jr., and
Fr. Alfred L. Durrance officiating. Arrangements by Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver
