Obituary of William Cheek
CHEEK, William Henry Mr. William H. Cheek, 74, of Ocklawaha, died Tuesday, December 9,
2008, at his residence. A native of Riverside, CA, he moved to this area in 2001 from Lytle
Creek, CA. He was self employed as a restaurant owner as well as a yard supervisor for Eagle
Roofing. He belonged to the Moose Lodge and the Eagles, and his many hobbies included camping,
fishing, traveling, woodworking, cooking, and riding his homemade trike. He is survived by his
wife Helen, daughters Tracy L. Huffman and DeEtta L. Johns, sons Timothy W. and James J. Cheek,
sisters Barbara Guffey and Juanita Cheek, 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He was
preceded in death by his daughter Donna S. Anderson and his son William Cheek, Jr. Cryptside
services will be held at 1 PM on Monday, December 15, 2008, at Highland Memorial Park Mausoleum,
1515 NE 3rd St., Ocala, with Rev. Warren Thompson officiating. Memorial contributions may be made
