Obituary of Carl Haas

Carl L. Haas 83, of Summerfield, died on Friday, December 12, 2008 at Munroe Regional Medical Center. A native of Lancaster, PA, Mr. Haas has been a longtime resident of Summerfield. He was a charter member of Maranatha Baptist Church, a member of the Fleet Reserve Association, and the Marine Corp Association. He retired as a Master Gunnery Sergeant from the Marine Corp after 28 years of service. He was a veteran of World War II, Korea and Vietnam. Mr. Haas loved fishing and working out at Too Your Health Spa in Belleview. He is survived by his wife Patricia Haas of Ocala, daughter Carla R. Haas of Ocala, 9 step children, 25 step grandchildren and 10 step great grandchildren.
