Obituary of Richard Kirsch

Richard Peter Kirsch, age 64, passed away on December 12, 2008 at the Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness, FL. Mr. Kirsch was a Regional Sales Manager for SAS Institute in Fairfax, VA until he moved from Fairfax, VA to Hernando, FL in July 2008. Mr. Kirsch served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam era. He enjoyed hiking, was an avid reader, as well as a handyman. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Mary G. Kirsch, of Hernando, FL; his mother, Anna M. Kirsch, of Ocala, FL; a daughter, Elizabeth A. Kirsch and fiancé, Michael Murray, of Fairfax, VA; two brothers, Robert T. Kirsch of Ocala, FL; and William R. Kirsch of Dunnellon, FL; a sister, Marcella Glasgow, of Largo, FL; two nieces, Lois Brusven, of Riverview, FL and Deana M. Kirsch of Dunnellon, FL; two nephews, Eric Glasgow, of St. Augustine, FL; and Brian Kirsch of Paine, RI; many nieces and nephews in Ohio and Texas and several cousins. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2008 at 11:00 AM at St. Scholastica Roman Catholic Church, 4301 W. Homosassa Trail, Lecanto, FL with Rev. Michael R. Smith officiating.
