Obituary of John Don Burns

The Villages - Don Burns, 84, died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2008. Mr. Burns was born in Chicago, ILL., and moved to The Villages from Chicago in 2001. He was a retired insurance broker; member of St. Timothy Catholic Community, Lady Lake; the Irish-American Club, The Villages; a U.S. Army veteran of World War II; and his hobby was golf. Survivors include his wife, Betty; sons, Jim, Naperville, ILL.; Terrence and John, both of Chicago; Thomas, Phoenix, AZ.; Michael, Milwaukee, Wis.; daughter, Catherine Gorman, Carmel, Ind.; brothers, Tom, Chicago Heights, ILL.; James, Las Grange, ILL.; and seven grandchildren
