Obituary of June Clara Mellick

June Mellick, 73 of Chiefland passed away Thursday, Jan 15 in Gainesville at Shands Hospital. Born in Rochester NY she moved to this area from Ft. Lauderdale 14 years ago. She is survived by her daughters, Arleen Bornt of Ft. White, FL; Linda Courtney of Chiefland; son Michael Mellick of Fargo, ND; and her brother Ross Carletta, Jr of Oregon, 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Mellick The family will have a gathering on Sunday, Jan 18 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
