Obituary of Robert Wilson

Robert C. Wilson 81, died on the 26th day of January, 2009. Dr Wilson was born in Buffalo, NY and moved to Summerfield from Asheville, NC in 1990. He was a WWII veteran of the US Army Air Corps. He received his Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical Engineering from The Ohio State University and was a Professional Engineer for more than 45 years; a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Belleview, Brotherhood of St. Andrew, Masons, Ocala Shrine, Lady Lake American Legion Post 347, Tri Village Ohio State Alumni Association, Stonecrest Men's Golf Association and a volunteer at the Ocala Civic Theatre. Survivors include his wife of 57 years Joan; sons Robert C. of Reynoldsburg, OH and Douglas S. of Naples, FL and 3 grandchildren, Brook and Matthew Wilson, and Christopher Kotron. Memorial Services for Dr. Wilson will be celebrated at 3:00 PM on the 4th day of February, 2009, at St. Mary's Episcopal Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Belleview. Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, Lady Lake is in charge of arrangements.
