Obituary of John Lamb

Lamb, John Robert Ocala - John Robert Lamb, 68, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at the Legacy Hospice House in Ocala. Born in Elmira, NY he moved to Ocala in 2004 from Boynton Beach, FL. He worked as a land surveyor in Palm Beach County for 25 years. He served in the United States Army. He enjoyed playing golf and was an avid bowler / coach. He is survived by his wife Nancy L. Lamb of Ocala; son Michael Lamb of West Palm Beach; daughter Michelle Card of Jacksonville Beach; brother George Lamb of Macon, GA; and aunt June Graham of Eureka, CA. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Friday, January 30, 2009 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. A private committal will follow the service at Highland Memorial Park.
