Obituary of Shawna Burnett

Shawna A. Burnett, age 35, of Ocala, FL passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2009. She was born in Leesburg, FL on July 5, 1973. She spent most of her life in Ocala. Shawna attended Vanguard High School where she was a cheerleader. Presently she was attending Central Florida Community College where she was working on her Associates degree in Business. She hoped to eventually earn a Bachelors degree. Shawna was very spiritual, with a generous heart. She was the proud mother of a two year old daughter, Sarina and in a committed relationship with her loving boyfriend, Ray Desjardin. She is survived by her mother Sharon Burnett; father Allen Burnett; brother Brent Burnett; Aunt Donna Miller and cousins Terri, Scotty and Michelle. A celebration of Shawna's life will take place on Monday, February 2, 2009, 9:00 am at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL. She will be laid to rest at Highland Memorial Park, Ocala, FL.
