Obituary of David Olson

David L. Olson, 79, passed away January 28, 2009 at Legacy House in Ocala. Mr. Olson was a retired Regional Vice President for 25 years with Worthington Service Corporation. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, David moved from Brecksville, Ohio to Florida in 1984. He enjoyed a variety of music, holidays with the family, spending time with grandchildren, golfing, bowling and bridge. David is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Pauline; a son, Steven Olson (Amanda) of Atlanta, GA; a daughter, Karen Hetrick of Brecksville, OH; a sister Ginny Nickerson of Derry, NH; four granddaughters and one grandson. He is predeceased by his parents and a brother. Funeral Service will be Friday, January 30, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Hiers-Baxley TimberRidge Chapel 9695 S.W. 110th St. Ocala with Rev. Dr. Ken Kleckner, III officiating. Military Honors provided by Angela Santos Post 4781 of Ocala at Florida National Cemetery Bushnell, FL at 2:30 PM.
