Obituary of Ronald D. Nichols

Ronald D. Nichols, age 57, of Belleview, FL passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2009. He was born in Birmingham, AL on December 28, 1951. He moved to Miami and lived there until moving to Belleview in 1980. He has worked as a mechanic/handyman. He was employed with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office as a fleet mechanic for 10 years. Ron received several commendations from the Sheriff’s Office for his service. He was a Baptist. His hobbies included hunting and fishing. Ron just enjoyed helping people. He once saved a young girls life after a tragic automobile accident. He is survived by a daughter Brenda McDevitt Disabello and her husband John; granddaughter Katelyn “Hunter” McDevitt; step daughter Julie Vowinkel; grandson Brady Vowinkel; sister Debbie Clayton and X-wife’s Bernice Rehrer and Barbara Nichols.
