Obituary of Gary Mazzanoble
Mazzanoble, Gary S. age 55, died Tuesday February 3, 2009 in Ocala, FL. He was a native
of Schenectady, New York. Gary was the Owner/Operator of Summer Spring Design &
Landscaping. Gary moved to the Ocala area from Cocoa Beach in 1984. While living in Cocoa Beach
he began his life- long passion of surfing. Gary was a passionate soul about many things some
included music, especially the Allman Brothers, Jimmy Buffett, and Lynard Skynard, Golfing,
Fishing, he was a huge Gator Fan. For 10 years Gary was the Mascot for the Miami Dolphins "The
Fin Head" and in the year 2000 he was Inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame, but among Gary's
accomplishments and passions ,the ONE passion he was MOST proud of was HIS LOVE for HIS DAUGHTER.
He had a special and close relationship with his brothers John and Fred. Gary is Survived by His
Daughter Catrina Mazzanoble of Colorado, his Brothers Fred Mazzanoble of Morriston and John
Mazzanoble of Ocala. There will be a vistation on Friday February 6, 2009 from 6-8PM at Hiers
Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd Ocala, FL with a Mass of Christian burial
being Said at 9:30 AM on Saturday February 7, 2009 at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church with Fr.
Patrick Sheedy Celebrant. Interment to follow in Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens. In lieu of
flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Marion County. Arrangements
