Obituary of Frederik Cooke

COOKE, Frederik E. Mr. Frederik E. Cooke, 85, of Palm Cay, died Saturday, February 6, 2009, at Hawthorne Inn at Surrey Place in Ocala. A native of Indonesia, he moved to this area in 1992, coming here from Pennsylvania. He worked for 30 years as a machine operator in manufacturing, and was a member of the Ocala West United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jopie Cooke,2 daughters, Barbara A. Schival, Alexandria, VA, and Judith C. Ehde, Minoa, NY, son Martin E. Cooke, Ocala, brother Wil Cooke, The Netherlands, 3 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, February 14, 2009, at West United Methodist Church, with Rev. Ken Kleckner officiating.
