Obituary of Gary D. Meier

Gary D. Meier, 65, of Summerfield, died February 9, 2009 at Tuscany Hospice House, Summerfield. he was born in Niskayuna, New York and moved to the area from Ontario, New York 4 years ago. Mr. Meier served 8 years in the United States Navy on the nuclear powered submarine, the USS John Adams. He enjoyed golf and bridge. Survivors include his wife, Laura Dawn Meier, Summerfield; daughters, Kelly Meier, Watkins Glen, NY, Nicole Meier, Naples, NY; son, Scott Meier, Ft. Lauderdale, FL; brothers, Bruce Meier, Chapel Hill, NC, Paul Meier, Cliffton Park, NY; mother, Edith Meier, Schenectady, NY; and 9 grandchildren.
