Obituary of Jessie Harold Durrance
Mr. Harold Durrance, "Papa D" 67, of Chiefland, FL passed away on Feb. 11, 2009. He was
a lifelong resident of Chiefland and was employed by Brunswick Pulp and Paper for 22 years, owned
a septic tank service company and retired from Levy County Landfill in 2003. Harold was a
lifelong hunter and fisherman, along with being an avid race car fan. Working with Jessie on #22
was one of the highlights for 6 years of racing at Bronson Speedway. Survivors include his loving
wife of 48 years, Brenda, daughter Robin Durrance (Morgan), son Jessie (Kim) Durrance and
grandchildren Beverly Velasco, Cindy Watson, David Drown, Cody Durrance and Garrett Durrance, all
of Chiefland. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hilma and Ted Durrance. Services were held
February 13th in Chiefland. Arrangements are under the care of Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services,
